Life "Proverbs" Inspired by My Sister

My sister, Jennifer and her husband, Danny
My little sister, Jennifer turns forty this month. My wife, PJ, and I decided to take some time and think about things that we find inspiring about Jen, things that people could learn from her, and things that we admire about her. We've compiled them into a short list of "proverbs".
Life "Proverbs" Inspired by Jennifer
by PJ and Clint
1. Talk to strangers and live a life full of friends, laughter and love
Jen "never met a stranger". This is how you learn interesting things and meet new friends. I try to remember that whenever I find myself being shy.
2. Drinking wine makes life better
'nuf said.
3. The enlightened person knows that Jews Rock! [1]
You are blessed if you fall in love with someone of Jewish heritage. They're attractive, fun, funny, kick-ass people! (She and I both married people with some level of jewish heritage, and our spouses do indeed rock!). For more details about "Jews that Rock" watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rd1Pyu9_rxo [2]
4. Travel is the beginning of wisdom
Not only will you have fun, but you'll learn more by travelling, especially in other countries, than almost anything else.
5. Be loyal to your loved ones.
Be loyal to your spouse, to your family and to your friends. There's nobody more loyal than my sister, Jen.
6. If you can't change your job, change your job.
You spend the majority of your time at work. If your job is miserable, find or make a better one. Sure, there may be periods of misery in any job, but if it's chronic misery, make the changes you need to.
7. The kind-hearted person Loves Animals
Adopt a cat, a dog, a bird or even a fish. They need someone to take care of them and you'll receive much more than you give.
8. Explore your inherent creativity
Everybody has some. Let it out!
9. Stand up for yourself and your friends
If you've ever crossed my sister Jen or one of her friends, you understand.
10. Life isn't a practice run, so have fun!
