Thanks for this encouraging article, Clint! Sometimes it becomes too easy to just do what everyone else is doing. So this article got me thinking of what I can do differently. One idea I decided on actually occurred to me years ago, but I didn't follow through on it. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is coming up in October. So I just ordered 100 postcards with a hot air balloon painting I did last year. I plan to be at the first mass ascension and will hand the postcards out to people as they leave the park. My artwork title, my name and website address are on the back. I might even put some packets together with the postcard, a business card and another small item. I haven't decided yet. This is not a ground breaking idea, but something that will get me out of my comfort zone.
