I totally agree with you. And I also realised the following: My followers grew from 500 to over 1000 within a few months. My art got much better in the same time. But my impressions, likes and so on went down. The ratio likes to impressions grew, but the total number went down. It seems to be the same as in Facebook before. The algorithm is getting worse for professional accounts. And because of the missing links, my newsletter list doesn't grow through Instagram.
